THE EPIC EXPERIENCE

Living in a private wildlife reserve and safari park alongside other passionate individuals and resident animals provides endless opportunities for photography. You’ll regularly capture moments of on-site volunteers working with Lion and Wildlife Sanctuary Volunteering, as they care for the captive and rescued resident animals. Each photo you take may be utilized for marketing and educational purposes, highlighting your essential contribution to the project’s success. However, don’t hesitate to set aside your camera and get involved in hands-on assistance alongside the team!

One of the advantages of residing on the wildlife reserve is the chance to hone your wildlife photography skills in more controlled settings before venturing into the wilderness. For instance, you can practice photography during the challenging dusk and dawn times with Spotted Hyenas and Lions, allowing you to master your settings and prepare for game drives in the National Park.

When not honing your wildlife photography skills or assisting with on-site tasks and photography for local NGOs, you’ll have the opportunity to enhance your abilities and capture incredible photos of local landmarks like the stunning Victoria Falls. Throughout your stay, the Photography Manager will provide tailored theoretical and practical classes to improve your skills.

Additionally, you’ll have the chance to support NGOs and organizations working with the local community and wildlife by offering your photography assistance. Your impactful images of the NGOs’ work play a vital role in raising awareness and securing funding to further their projects. Your time and expertise can truly make a difference for these worthy causes, as many organizations lack the necessary photography resources.

So, get your camera ready, charge those batteries, and focus! A single photograph has the power to convey a thousand words and create change. Ultimately, it’s your eye, your photo, and your story.
